Isa is twelve years old and there is a party to celebrate her birthday. Great, right? Not at all! Her mother insists that Isa invite the whole class, even the horrible Suzette-la-parfait. Isa’s little brother sneezes on the cake, Isa gets THREE pink t-shirts (the color she hates) and the pignata game goes wrong for her. Is Isa’s party gonna be a disaster? The story deals with all the near disasters that occur on the day of Isa’s birthday party, from a little brother sneezing on the cake, to a piñata accident.
