Description
This is a graphic novel adaptation of Victor Hugo’s classic tale of love, revenge and redemption. Jean Valjean is imprisoned for 15 years for stealing a loaf of bread to feed his starving family. The police officer Javert, convinced that Valjean is a career criminal, spends years pursuing him. Valjean becomes a successful businessman and town mayor, but is always under the shadow of the relentless Javert.
