Description
Pierrot and his friend Annie goes fishing and what does he catch? Everything but a fish. A toy boat, a hat, an old shoe, a telephone, even a hippopotamus gets caught on his line while his friend Annie manages to lure the fish in. When he finally catches a fish he feels sorry for it and throws it back into the water. An entertaining read about what we throw into our water and a valuable lesson on preserving nature. As well, a refrain that lends itself to choral reading and oversized images are great for group readings.
