We are delighted to introduce Décodables Je lis !, a new addition to the Je lis ! Online collection and included in a Je lis ! licence. Written by Johanne Proulx, this new set includes 26 booklets available exclusively in digital format, each focusing on a different phoneme for students in immersion programs at the early reading stage.

This collection is designed for students who have already mastered basic phoneme-grapheme correspondences. Each booklet tells a simple, engaging story to help students make connections and understand a text more easily. Teachers can use the texts in a variety of reading situations.

On the digital platform, a read-aloud feature with word-by-word highlighting is available. Students can also record themselves while reading. These recordings can be used to determine next steps.

The progression chart is based on an analysis of several progression charts and has been adapted to meet the needs of students learning an additional language. There may be some changes to the Phase 2 chart as it is being developed.
